Responsible gaming at BC Game Nigeria

BC Game Nigeria is committed to player protection. The tools and policies below apply to all registered users accessing the platform from Nigeria. Gambling is entertainment and carries financial risk. It is not a source of income and should never be treated as one.

Player protection tools

BC Game Nigeria provides four account-level tools that Nigerian players can activate at any time through their account settings. Deposit limits cap the total amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly or monthly period. Once set, a limit reduction takes effect immediately. A limit increase requires a 7-day cooling-off period before it becomes active, which prevents impulsive adjustments during a session.

Reality checks send a notification after a set period of continuous play, such as every 30 or 60 minutes. Session limits close your session automatically when a defined play duration is reached. Self-exclusion suspends your account for a minimum period of 6 months. During a self-exclusion period, the account cannot be reopened early under any circumstances, including a direct request to support.

Age verification and minor protection

BC Game Nigeria does not permit registration or play by persons under 18 years of age. Age verification is conducted during the KYC process, which is triggered on first withdrawal above a defined threshold or on any account flagged for review. A government-issued ID, such as a Nigerian national identity card, driver's licence or passport, is required to complete verification. Accounts that cannot confirm eligibility are suspended pending documentation.

If you share a device with minors, BC Game recommends enabling parental control software at the operating system level, as the platform itself cannot restrict access by device. Players are responsible for ensuring that login credentials are not accessible to persons under 18 in their household.

Recognising problem gambling

Problem gambling affects a small but significant proportion of players. Common signs include spending more than you can afford to lose, borrowing money to fund gambling, neglecting work or relationships due to gambling, and chasing losses after a losing session. If two or more of these apply to you over the past 30 days, it is worth speaking to a support organisation.

Nigerian players can contact the Gambling Aid Africa helpline, whose certification mark appears in the BC Game Nigeria footer. BC Game Nigeria also provides a direct link to account self-exclusion in the responsible gaming section of the platform settings. Gambling should be stopped immediately if it causes financial distress, anxiety or conflict with others in your household.
